Trackseasonruns outHOWLAND-The Howland Track Team ended its regular season Wednesday, May 12, with a 76 % to 50 % loss to Campbell Memorial. Jim Gue continued his point winning ways with a first place finish in the long jump and a second finish in the 220.The Tigers finished one, two, three in the discus with Tom Ahem, Tony Vennitti and John Burian doing the job. Also, Bill Penman had a second place finish in the shot put.Points were also won on Dan Waggoner's third place high jump finish and John Sant’s second in the pole vault.John Burns had an outstanding day with first place finishes in both the 120 yard high hurdles and the 180 yard low hurdles. Also, Bob Onder Finished second in the 100 yard dash and Jay Earich and Dave Shirey finished second and third in the mile run. Gue placed second in the 440 In the 880 yard run, Jay Earich and Kevin Thomas finished second and third respectively. Finally, John Penman and Steve Stare finished third and fourth respectively in the two mile run.Sectionals were held Friday, May 14 at Kent Roosevelt,
