The Fairborn Daily Herald, Friday, May 18, 1973-7BASEBALLERS BLOW LEADSWest Slaps S ver INettersFairborn Baker’s Jay Grizzell managed to win the first set from B Fairmont West’s Casey Daganhardt, but from there on it was all Daganhardt as he and his teammates bopped the visiting Flyers, 5-0, in a Western Ohio league match.Grizzell, a senior headed for Wright State, battled the Dayton Class AAA sectional champion for a 7-5 win in the first set, but the net-charging Daganhardt headed for Bowling Green, rebounded with two 6-1 sets.Grizzell's was the only close match as his Flyer teammates lost in straight sets on the concrete West courts.DON ROGERS, Baker’s No. 2 singles fell victim to BrianWnffpr in tu’n A.1 cptcThe Flyers' last tally came in the fifth inning when Rouch tripled and rode home on Met-zler’s single.STEBBINS EVENED the court with five in the sixth.
