(Register Photo)Price Hifl CopsVolleyball TitleW~ien/edglejcih/hoin-icnIPs al-our os- iSTANAFORD—The Price Hill girls volleyball team held permanent possession of the grade school championship trophy today after cakewalking through the elementary school tournament here Friday.The eight-member team registered their third championship, needed to retire the annual floating trophy, with a bye in the first round, a victory over S tana ford’s host team in the semifinals and a 59-21 swamping of Prosperity in the finale.TlfEIR TOUGHEST opposition came from Stanaford, which held them to a 38-27 holly contested victory, but after disposing of Tournament Director Mason An-jderson’s girls, the eventual champs I were never closely contested, al-i though the smaller Prosperity girls played their hearts out.Stanaford had earlier routed Oswald 77-11, to advance to the semifinals. In the bottom bracket the Prosperity team defeated Skelton 32 to 25 and then topped Beaver, which drew a bye, 36-17. Cirtsviile, originally scheduled to play Price Hill in the first round, failed to show up and Price Hill won by forfeit.
