Ray L. Doan’s House of David baseball club will tangle with th«Kingsbury Monarchs at the Kingsbury diamond near Fredonia next Saturday afternoon, according to announcement by Bill Knott, who is sponsoring he Monarch club.The Monarchs will be opposed by a former major league battery, Grover Cleveland Alexander and Earl “Oil” Smith. This veteran pair will probably give way later in the game to a younger pair ofperformers.‘Lefty” Hidelbaugh is slated to take the slab for the Monarchs with probably Kenney Huber of Muscatine Joing the receiving.A new diamond has recently been layed out near Fredonia and both the infield and outfield has been “skinned.” The game is scheduled to open at 3 p. m.
