They Were defeated hy Little 1 * Kansas In the first rdund of play j fa the Tahlequah tournament. i, In the Connors invitational tourn-’4ament the Checotah team'won the third place trophy by defeating Halbert after suffering defeat b the Braggs team. In the district'• tournament the girls again lost in’ the first game to Warner.There will be seven girls returning next year who played first •tring this year. The are: JoyceHart, Betty Scott, Margaret Smith, Ixmme Luke, Cleda Lattn, Sue Nell Newton and Pat Hughes. .*The team next year will be bolstered by 12 girls who made up-this year’s freshman team.The freshman girls won five games and lost ope. They were-winners of the Warner Junior Hi tournament.O
