Players from the Blomquist Swedes and Sigma Alpha Epsilon, finalists in the intramural baseball tournament, dominated the first all-intramural team picked by the officials of the tournament. Sigma Alpha Epsilon also placed two men on the second team to give them five for the entire selection, Claude Wallace, Swedes, and Bob Whittington, Kappa Alpha were voted the two best pitchers in the tournament. Other Swede players making the first team were Burton Lawrence at first base and Marvin Baker at third base. Clark Wilkinson, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, won the first team catch ing position, while his teammates Roger Sullivan and Jack Morrison were awarded the second base and left field positions. R. B. Patrick, pitcher, and Bob Cousins, first baseman, were placed on the sec ond team to give the S.A.E.’s their five all-intramural players. Raoul Gonzalez, Latin-American Club shortstop; Arthur Harper, Jones House center fielder; and Roy Bain, Beta Theta Pi right fielder, completed the first team. John Gill, Rinky Dink pitcher, shared the second team pitching spot with Patrick. Dan Ortega, Latin American Club, won the balloting for the catching slot. The infield berths were filled by Cou sins; Ney Sheridan, Delta Kappa Epsilon second baseman; John Pet erson, Alpha Tau Omega third baseman; and Pat Pickett, Alpha Tau Omega shortstop.
