TRACK MEET AT ERIE CO.FAIR GROUNDS SATURDASandusky and Fremont (Will be Itc|resented in Various ScheduledEvents,The first track meet ever held i this city will take place at the fai grounds on South Cannp street Satur day afternoon, May 18. It will be dual affair, the contesting teams be ing from Fremont and Sandusky hig] schools.There will be 12 events, includini seven on the track and five on tie field. The runs will range in dis tanco from a 10Q yard to a 2 millt; dash. In addition to the trad events the field events will be fea tures. There are five of these.The Sandusky team is in first classcondition and expects to win by jclose nmrgfti. Five points .will hlt; awarded the man winning eacJ event. The second man will receive three and the third, one. •Already a largo number of tickets have been disposed of and ii seenn assured that track meet, if conducted properly, will receive encouragement ia this city. The events will begin promptly at 2 o’clock.
