UNO Remains U nbeatenOMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Defending champion University of Nebraska-Omaha and Michigan State, the only undefeated teams of the 1976 Women’s Softball College World Series, stake their 3-0 records tonight in winners bracket play.Northern Iowa took on the University of Texas-Arlington, and Illinois faces Tarkio, Mo„ in the losers bracket earlier today. Northern Colorado and Arizona State will then face the winners of those two matches.In games late Friday, Tarkio, Mo., survived 3-0 over East Stroudsburg, Pa.: Illinois State defeated California State 6-3; and Texas-Ariington advanced on a 2-0 win over Kansas.In other action Friday South Carolina defeated Northwestern Oklahoma State 5-1; Northern Iowa defeated Indiana State 10-2: Nebraska Omaha downed Northern Colorado 3-2; California State defeated Minnesota 6 1; East Stroudsburg, Pa. defeated Utah 4-1; Texas Arlington triumphed over South Carolina 3-0, and Michigan State blanked Arizona Staie 2-0.The action Fnday whittled the qualifying teams in the double elimination series to eight
