Bloom Wins District, Sends13, Two Relays to FinalsRecords Bettered By Elzie, PounceyWill Bid for Fifth Straight State Track ChampionshipBloom, reigning monarch of schoolboy track in Illinois since 1956, Saturday won its sixth consecutive district j track title before a jubilant throng of home town fans at! Chicago Heights.More important than the district title, the Trojans qualified 13 individuals for 15 places and two relay teams to bolster their bid for a fifth straight state championship next Friday and Saturday in Memorial Stadium at Champaign.* * *BLOOM PILED up 75 points, far outdistancing a large field of competitors. Second-place Blue Island scored 25. Rounding out the top 10 were Joliet 16, St. Patrick 13, Thornton 12, Bremen 12, Rich 8»4, U.
