RUPERT, May 15—Who will win the district track .meet at Coach George Hays’ speedy oval here Friday?Last week experts'* were predicting Twill Falls with Burley given a chance and Buhl and Rupert pressing them hard. However, alter Rupert’s surprising show of strength in winning the Big Seven meet, with Burley a close second, the picture lias changed and now no fan in this track hotbed is willing to come out with a prediction. On the basis of previous performances in the high hurdles, Boothe and Clark, Burley; Sanford, Paul, and Pettygrove, Twin Fells, are the top men. Harvie Conlln, Rupert; Rogers, Twin Falls, and Groves, Jerome, loom as favoritesin the 100-yard dash. The mile should show real race between Neves, Jerome; Burgener, Buhl, and Greene, Paul. Each is capable of winning.
