Hall Golfers Defeat Mendota, St. BedeHall township high school golfers of Spring Valley Monday defeated Mendota high and St. Bede Academy in a triangular event at the SouthBluff Country club.Paced by Jim Besenfelder, who was low medalist with 37-41—73, the Red men scored 19 V4 points, five more than Mendota had in second place with 14 V£. St. Bede was a weakthird, getting only single points intwo of the four threesomes for a total of two points.The low medalist swept six points in his three-cornered match as Faber of Mendota got three and Bill Cosgrove got 1, Bob Cosgrove was blanked. Tower of Mendota counted 5 liz points as Burton Carruthers of Hall took 3 Vs: and Bob Cosgrove wrasblanked. Glenn Vogt of Hall won five points with Morteson of Mendota taking three and Loebach of St. Bede one.To round out the meet, Art Knud-sen of Hall scored five Dubbs of Mendota three and Ballerine of St. Bede one.The scores;W.
