PORTAGE BALL CLUB ELECTS NEW OFFICERS[Special to The Winnipeg TribuncJPORTAGE LA PRAIRIE, May 14.—At the meeting of the baseball fans of the city officers were elected to carry on the affairs of the Portage club in the league to be formed, composed of Portage, HighBluff, and Macgregor. The slate of officers are as follows: Patrons, Hon. E. A. McPherson. K.C., E. A. Gilroy. E. G. Porter. K.C., S. Law-ther, Thomas McCarthy, Phil Baron and A. M. Muckle; president. Tom Kernahan; vice-president. J. M. Davidson; secretary-treasurer, P. E. Leach; league representatives, Dick Mutcheson, Joe Peakin, Addie Bell and Alvin Brown.
