The drawing shows Coronado and his colorful host in armor-The program as announced on Hie placard calls for the registration of old timers at the high school gym eti the first morning. At II . o'clock the Pre-Centennial celebration will be opened in the city halt j with high stale and national officials speaking. In the afternoon the Pre-Centennial parade of floats, graphically depicting great- moments in Texas history will move up and down the main streets. \ Twelve hundred Texas lings, and j fin addition flags of the United States, Mexico. Spain and France, and yards of bunting, will be used to decorate tire fronts of business places.On the first night will be held prize fights, and the second Roundup program in the gym. The latter will incuudc old fiddlers' contest ■ and calling games.Mid-morning of the second day will be held the third Round-up program, also at the gym. This will i include 'band music, old-time music, and reminiscences by old timers. In the afternoon will be held (he fourth Roundup program and will be similar lo the others. A baseball game • between the I-Iousc of David nine and the Roadrun-nsrs will be held at Rond runner park cn the second afternoon.The main attraction of the celebration, the Pre-Centennial pageant will be presented in the natural theater in the beautiful Cen- j ml park on the evening of June j i 1 at 11 o'clock. This spectacle Will • show 14 swiftly-moving scenes on i two huge stages; a colorful drama j calculated tc lift-The eyes-of the audience to he hilltops of Texas history during 300 years, 1534 to 1334. The 110 persons in the cast l will be lavishly costumed.1 After the pageant a night club ! prcgram will bo held at the Pla-; j Mor and calling games will be played at t he high school gym to the | accompaniment of old fiddlers. j
