There are 15 players on the team at present which assures us a good team at all times. Joe Hahn and Joe (Cy) Benz are the new members.Joe Benz was given a fine reception by the fans when he trotted out on the diamond to pitch to the boys for batting practice. Although not entire, ly recovered from the effects of the operation which he underwent in Chicago some weeks ago, Joe took up his station in the coachers’ box at third base and in that way helped the boys to victory.The fans seemed to like the new recruit, Joe Hahn. Joe played a fine game and his batting helped bring home the bacon. Watch this boy lace them out later in the season. He adds mightily to the batting strength of the team.Hammerle and Terry did the umpiring. Their work, as usual, was high class. Both men are former ball players and understand the game from every angle.“Buddy” Bohland, the camera man, snapped the two teams lined up in front of the stands before the game. The picture is on exhibition at Blank’s Pharmacy.Joe Wintz played his usual good game at the short field. He had a busy day and acepted some very difficult chances without a wobble.
