DUSKIES TO PLAY BALL.If the weather is favorable there will be two large ink splotches out at Miners baseball garden this afternoon. The Joplin Night Owis will clash with the Cherokee, Kan., negro team. The contest has been heralded far and wide, in some places, so there is much interest being taken in the game. The local bugs who are interested in the national sport have been assured that the spades will play the game if they have to wade mud a foot deep to do it.
