Piers Won both the broad jump and 220 though given a battle by Dick Rypn in the latter event. Carlspn scored live and one-fourth points as in addition to his stint in the 100, cqme in third in the broad jump with 0 leap of 18 feet and 11 inches,while running the first leg of the I relay.
