ADMIRING THE LAST TROPHY won by a Volga Aids team and already planning on being friendly enemies at the group’s gala reunion next Sunday are Henry Oehlberg (holding the trophy his own 194S team won) and Conrad Kaiser, The two men will manage teams of former Volga Aid players Sunday, — (Sheboygan Press photo),Volga Aids Ball Players ‘Shaping Up9 For SundayNot only will there be a gala reunion of all former Volga Aid Athletes next Sunday but plans for a “fun game of baseball are also moving toward completion, Manager Henry Oehlberg, representing players in the 1940s, will put a team on the field against players of the 1930s or earlffer headed-up by Manager Conrad Kaiser.The game will be a three-inning affair and will he played at the Legion Memorial Park at 1:30 Sunday,Chairman John Schneider Jr., has urged that all former players who have not been contacted should report to their respective managers at the park no later than 1 o’clock Sunday. On hand, too, will be Mayor John Bolgert, who will throw the first honorary ball to Recreation Director Howie Rich. The public will be invited to witness the affair without admission charge.A social event will then be held immediately after the game at Dick's Club, restricted to former players and guests.
