Compared to his work of last week hp was slow of eye and foot, and the spectators, among whom were Tox Rickard and Jeffries's father and brother, were dlsap-jBPinted.Jeffries slept late and when he appeared in the ring stripped for action he lacked the life he has shown on other days, To make matters worse, the grouch* that Jeffries displayed during the early part of his training returned In double force and the fighter was as affable as a goriya Sfeven rounds ih all maiked the ring work.
