Knocked Ont. jBuffalo, N. Y., May 9-The Olycir ': club was packed to the doors tonight J to witness the twenty round go between Jim Daly and Jack Boty, a colored boy of this city. This was Daly’s first appearance in the ring since Kid McCoy j knocked him out two years ago. He was very beefy while his opponent was in the beet possible condition. In the fourth round Baty was groggy from a straight punch in the stomach, but Daly was too slow to follow up his advantage. Daly was knocked down in the fifth round and as he rose caught a leffc^swiug on the jaw which nearly knocked him through the ropes and the referee counted him out.Hyn lie Goldstein, of Buffalo and Harry Lemons, colored, of Niagara Falls, boxed twelve fierce rounds in the preliminary bout. Goldstein did the better work. The referee declared it a draw.II
