Marceline Girls Win District TrackThe Marceline Tiger girlshave won the district track and field championship, held Friday at Salisbury, scoring 86 points. \Salisbury’s Panther girls were second.Northwestern’s Tina Gilbert was a triple winner, taking the low hurdles, the long jump and triple Jump.Jones of Westran capturedboth the 100 and the 220- yarddashes, and Boss of Salisbury won the discus and high, jump.Marceline’s first places were earned by Artz in the 440, E wig man in the mile run, Buckman in the shot put, and the Tiger 440-yard relay.Duncan of !eadvllle’s Eagles won the 880-yard run.
