In their first two games of the. season the Lamoni lads ran up a total of forty-I five runs against Corydon and Osceola, and last Sunday marked ! up their third win by beating ! Humeston.Having played before more than 1,000 customers here last Sunday when they opened their 1934 season by dropping a 4-,3 decision to the Des Moines Western league outfit, the All-Stars are confident ! they have embarked on what may be a fine season, financially. Incidentally. the All-Stars also played a brand of ball against the class “A” organized leaguers that was sufficient proof that they will rank among the outstanding semi-pro teams of the state this year.
