Oak Park Higli at Beloit MeetOnly two Oak Park athletes were able to break into the point column at the Beloit intefscholastic last Saturday. Chester Kriedler ran a close second in the quarter and Paul Date took third place in the hundred-yard dash.The relay quartet, composed of Samuel Wallace, Chester Kriedler, Ciregor Phelps and Roy Hardy, finished sccond and raised Oak Park’s total score to seven points. Captain Kraft was not in proper condition to place in the mile, which was won by May of Lane in the slow time of 4:56.Lewis- institute won the meet, scoring 40 points and Keewatin school was second with twenty-two, counted by Harry Goelitz and Berry Cantwell, members of last year's championship Oak Park team. Cantwell won the quarter and -Goelitz won both low aad high hurdles and discus and took third in the high jump. He spiked himself in going- oyer the hurdles but dtd not with' draw from the events.Last year Oak Park lost the. Beloit meet to Evanston academy by one point and won the Lake Forest and Champaign in tersehoiasdc meets. The Lake Forest events are being held this Saturday afternoon, Oak Park being represented by a large sfjuad. Coach Thistle*tbwaite will also take the entire team to the Illinois field day next Saturday.
