Miss Didrikson,Baseball SquadsReport to DoanFamous Girl Athlete andHouse of David Clubs Will Train for Time inMuscatine.Mildred “Babe” Didrikson, thatnationally famous girl athlete and 17 members of the eastern and western teams of the Houseof David Baseball Clubs. Inc.,have reported to Manager Ray LDoan of Muscatine here, he announced this morning.Other members of the clubs ar' expected to report here within the next few days to go through early training here. Manager Doan announced. Grover Cleveland Alexander, former world series hero, is in California, but will also report soon.During the training period of the clubs here, they will meel strong teams of this vicinity and one or the other of them may engage the Muscatine Muskies before the teams leave on theirtours.! Miss Didrikson was in Musca-: tine last fall when she was sI member of Doan’s Didrikson = All-Americans, a touring basketball team, and this spring has been w’orking out at Doan’s baseball school at Hot Springs, Ark where she took a turn on the mound for several major leagueclubs.
