Ball Season Opens Sunday.The Bateaviiie Base Ball Club has organized for the season of 1912 , with F. J. Morgan, as president, and ' John Wernke, manager and captain.This announcement, we are sure, will be welcome news to all baseball lovers tn our little city, for It is a well-known fact that Batesville has a large number of enthusiastic fan*, who Had no greater pleasure than to bask in the rays of the hot summer sun to root for their favorite on the team.The ooening game of the season will be played next Sunday, May (2, with the Cincys, of Cincinnati, a* the opposing team. The game will be called at 2:30 p. m. with the following line-up: H. Wolfe, pitcher; Virgil Minning, catcher: 1st bas*, John Wernke: 2nd base, Otto Pritscb; 3rd base, Mat Weigel; shortstop, Grover Beoz, left-field, Alvadore Beck; Center field, Florence Weigel; rigbfc-field.
