Weak hitting cost the Irvington High School nine another game in the Western Westchester League series on Monday when Croton High School defeated the home forces at Memorial Park by a score of 5 to 0. Irvington was able to get only one hit off Johnny Jones of Croton and that was a double by Frechette in the sixth inning which was all that stood between Jones and. a no-hitter.Second base was as far as Irvington runners were able to get at any stage of the game and that happened only twice.Croton made six hits off the combined pitching of Astuto and Sherrier.Irvington has .lost all four of, its league games.Irvington H.S.abrhVcnditto, 3b .....300Frechette, c201J.
