(UP1 —The Oakland Oaks overwhelmed (he Indiana Pacers Monday night, 144-117, to take a [ commanding 3-1 lead in (he Ameirican Basketball Association's final playoff series.The Western Division champion Oaks can wrap up the' league title with a victory over the Eastern Division titlist at Oakland Wednesday night.The Oaks, led by Warren Armstrong’s 30 points, were in front at every stop and built up a 30-point cushion in the third period at 108-78. Oakland outscored the Pacers in the third stanza by 20 points, 41-21. and it was no contest the rest of the way. The Pacers made a game of it in the first eight minutes when the lead changed hands seven times and the score was tied once. Doug Moe,who finished with 27 points, pul Oakland ahead for good at 17-16.In quick succession, IraHargc, Henr.
