BARSTOW—Work is progressing at a rapid clip on the Red Bluff highline being constructed through the Pecos Valley. Brown and Root, Inc., contractors, had 50 men on the payroll this week.BARSTOW—Six-man football, a new and exciting game, was introduced to fans of this area Friday night on the Wink Wildcat gridiron when the Barstow Bears met the Pyote Panthers.
