Pitchers like Chance don’t come around too often.“We defintely have a good chance of winning win he throws.”Caple, a lean and athletic 6-foot-5 with a low 90s fastball, has done a great deal of winning since becoming the staffs ace a year ago. As a junior he went 12-2 with 2.26ERA and 140 strikeouts in 90 innings of work. With the strong season came an influx of attention from colleges and Major League Baseball Scouts.Over the summer he received his first letter, from Baylor where last year’s teammate Ryan Ridenour signed, and has been swamped since.
