MCFARLAND LIKELY TO FIGHT WOLGASTL ' ~1 iiChicago, May 4.— Unless someone backs down there is every reason to believe today that the superiority of Champion Ad Wolgast or Packey McFarland, the stockyards lightweight^ may soon be determined. In Chicago a few days ago Wolgast offered, among other things, to meet McFarland at 134 pounds at 3 o’clock on the afternoon of the battle and to bet $5,000 he could dispose of the Chicago champion inside of twenty rounds.McFarland, who has returned from the east, declares he will accept such an offer and meet Wolgast just as soon as the champion is ready. No bout between the two, however, is possible until late in the summer or early in autumn, since Wolgast is to fight Fran kie Burns on the coast this month andOwen Moran on July 4.
