MACKEY MADE GOOD.Biz Mackey waded into Young McGovern at Dayton Friday night and compelled the Toledo man’s seconds to throw up the sponge after two and a half minutes of fast boxing. McGovern hit the lloor three times in rapid succession and the bout was stopped to prevent a knockout. MacKey was in rare form and sent in his favorite left hook with terrible force. The Toledo man, appeared strong and clever, but was evidently taken off his guard at the very start and couid not recover from some of the hard wballop received.Mackey and Riley will leave Findlay Monday for Cleveland where the former will box Kid Brock Tuesday. On Friday, Mackey will meet Buz Anby at Sebring for a second encounter. Mackey is to appear at Indianapolis soon and a number of the local sports are planning to see him.
