Fitz Calls Kid McCoy.Bob Fitzsimmons has come out with a deft to Kid McCoy, and. if the Hoosier is sincere in his offer to fight Lanky Bob he will be able to don the mitts, with 'the ex-heavyweight champion shortly.Fitzsimmons will fight McCoy either six or twenty-five rounds. If McCoy chooses the six-round gallop he can have a fight within three weeks before one of the Philadelphia clubs. Fitzsimmons will not make the middleweight limit for this shortfight. He will sign to box at catch-weights only. ' ;If McCoy wants to fight for the middleweight championship he will have to make the distance twenty or twenty-five rounds and give the Cornish-man three months in which to train. To show that he means businessFitzsimmons will post a , forfeit to guarantee weight and appearance, and will bet $5,000 to $10,000 on the side.
