The Texas Cyclones, a local 10U Fast pitch softball team, recently placed third in their first tournament of the season in Rowlett. Front row, left to right - Nicole Nordie, Kailey Mooney. Second row -Samantha McDaniel, Haliegh Ceballos, Josie Donelson, Felicia Edelman and Carly Scott. Back row - Kristen Kimmel, Maggie Jones, Malorie Dial, Taylor Wynn and Haley Prince. Not pictured are Coach James Mooney and Callie Beard. Although many people are supportive of the Texas Cyclones, the trophy was given to Mr. Donald Pennington, a WW II Veteran, by a unanimous vote from the Texas Cyclone members. Mr. Pennington is very supportive of the team and is a great inspiration to them. They would like to take this opportunity to ‘Thank” all the individuals and businesses that have helped.
