Williamson Inks Broncho LetterCentral State added the second half of the ground-gobbling tandem that carried Lawton High to the state football championship when t h e Bronchos signed fullback Roger Williamson to a letter of intent Friday night.Williamson, holder of the LHS single-game rushing record, joins state Back of the Year Ed Gholson, who earlier inked a letter with the Edmond school.Williamson rushed for 1.239 yards and scored 72 points for the unbeaten Wolverines last season. The 150-pound Negro was over 100 yards five times and had a high of 215 steps against Putnam City West.The Wolverine flash set a one-game mark as a junior in 1969 With a 269-yard effort against Del City. He finished with 714 rushing yards a j nior.Williamson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Williamson.1707 Washington, becomes the ninth member of the *70 Wolverine delegation to sign for a college contract.
