THIRD MAJORFederal Base Ball League Will Open Season Tomorrow AtCleveland.WILL HAVE SIX CLUBSSt. Louis, May 2.—A third big league has arrived.The Federal league, incorporated with six clubs—Cleveland, Chicago, Covington, Ky., Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and St. Louis—has put up the money for the franchise, players have been signed, managfers selected, schedule arranged and the first tilt will be staged at Cleevland, May 2, while the local season opens its St. Louis university park May 6.The magnates elected head the new league are: John T. Powers, president; M. F. Brumler, vice-president; John A. Ross, secretary; J. A. George,treasurer; J. Edward Krause and B. C. Doudy, assistant treasurers.
