Claude- Joscelvn captured an unusual specimen of fish last Friday with an ordinary-hook and line, but used his 6-shooter to kill it with, viz, a shovel nosed catfish,which was four feet in length.*Its hill or nose was a foot long and two inches wide. Mrs. »Fos celyn also has on exhibition a specimen of the Burbank lemon,' which she has received from herfather of Snoma, California. It is 14 inches in circumference, 4 i n diameter. It is said that the best specimens are still larger. This particular species is not on market yet.Later:—Claude Joscelyn reports another big eatch on his fish book this morning, viz. a mammoth sturgeon five long, weighing 35 lbs.
