First and foremost comes Tottenham Hotspur, who this year have joined the army ofprofessionals. Since doing this everything hasturned out a success with them 1 he gates have increased, the team greatly improved, and, taken altogether, the Spurs can put the past season down as the most successful in the club’s history. Next season they will he in the United League,• ' o 'and also the Southern, I hope, iu the meantime they aie engaging several new men, and these, with the good talent they have in hand, should place Tottenham’s noble representatives in the foremost rank of southern football.Next, to the Spurs I must place Enfield. They have succeeded in winning the North Middlesex League Championship and Halsey Cup, besidesdefeating several first-class clubs. There is not the slightest doubt the amalgamation of the two Enfield Clubs was a wise step. ’They have a fine lot of followers, and have certainly pitched their tent in a good stronghold for the winter pastime. Next season they are launching out, and have promised a grand stand, and will endeavour to annex their names on to the English, Amateur, Middlesex, and London Senior (hips. They have 22)v most sincere good wishes. Advance, Enfield ! 1 nntsu forget Burnet and Novoeastrians, who run Enfield so dose, and both have had successful seasons.
