toria.arCANOE.AN OUTINU SATURDAY.At a general meeting of the Viotoria 1 Canoe Club, held last ovoning at 30 Broad street, the following new members were elect d : F. M. Rattenbury, Chaa. Quinnan, , A. C. Martin, F. C. Quigley, R. Cooper, 1 Fred. Wollaston, J. M. McGregor, and P. A. C. Armfelt. The first outing of the canoo club will take place on Saturday, the 5th inst., when a cruiso up the Arm will a start from the olub house at 2 p.m. Members are rdquested to turn out in good force with their friends. Owing to the resignation of Mr. C. M. Page, who is spondirg the a summer in ltncland, Mr. F. G White was eleotod secretary-treasuror. The constitu-1 fcion of the olub wub revised and amended and a report from tho secretary was read, showing that the club commences its second year of sport with a good balance on hand.aan ■ a'
