MISS GRAND LAKE, Jonya Stapp of Miami, was crowned Saturday night at Grove, climaxing a pageant which attracted a capacity turnout in the high school auditorium. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnie F. Stapp, Jonya is a sophomore at Northeastern AAM and an outstanding golfer.Jonya Winner of Crown of GroveGROVE (Special)—Jonya Stapp, a dark-haired beauty from Miami, wears the crown of Miss Grand l,ake and will compete June 4 for the Miss Oklahoma title in TulsaMiss Stapp emerged the winner from a field of 12 girls in the lake pageant finals here Saturday night before a standing-room-only audience.The new Miss Grand Ixike is an outstanding golfer, and a comic golf routine was her talent contribution in the annual contest sponsored by the Miss Grand Lake Pageant Committee. She won scholarshipsand gifts valued at $1,200.Jonya, 19, is a daughter of Mr and Mrs. Johnie F. Stapp and a sophomore at Northeastern AiM in Miami.
