CAN’T BEAT THE “TIGER.”Helena, Mont.* May 1.—Champion Young Corbett, the conqueror of Terry McGovern, and his company of players appeared In Rutte Wednesday night. After the performance Young Corbett made the rounds of the gambling houses. Ho lost $250 at faro, all his ready cash, at the first place 1 visited. Then he presented a draft on a New York bank for $1,500, which was cashed, and this amount was also lost. In addition to these two sums Young Corbett lost $250 which he borrowed. Altogether his experience with tho Butte tiger cost tin1 doughty pugilist $2,250.
