Wrestling Awards Presented to BoysWith more than 200 people in attendance, the first annual parent-boys Hawks wrestling team banquet sponsored by the Hazel Crest park district was termed a success by Jerry Prekwas, varsity head coach.The featured speaker was Ron Stuart, former three-time small college and all-American wrestler while at Elmhurst college. Stuart is presently a teacher and assistant freshman coach at Hillcrest high school.The highlight of the evening was the presentation of wrestling awards by Len Murphy, park district boardmember.TROPHIES awarded included Rookies of the Year to Kevin Mungovan and John Papas, most improved to RonBicentennialMeetingWednesdayPersons wishing to serve on the Heritage 76, Festival or Horizons 76 committees of the Hazel Crest Bicentennial commission may attend Wednesday's meeting at 8 p.m. in the Hazel Crest United Methodist Community church, 17050 California avenue, or may telephone Chairman Art Crowley at 335-2189 or the village offices at 335-4600.The committees were •established during the last commission meetings and will remain in effect for the lifetime of the commission.
