The play opened fairly equal, but tho game was quite spoilt by a gale of wind in the opening half. Kettering got no less than three comers, but could not score, and then approaching- the interval Uolnmn pat on a point, Kettering fchne leading at the interval by a goal to nil. In the concluding hair West Ham had slightly the better of the exchangee, and succeeded in dm wing lerel.
