The Golden Sierra golf team stands third in the Golden Empire League with a 4-3 record. Lastweek the Grizzlies picked up two victories over Marysville and Lincoln, but lost to league-leading Colfax at Auburn Valley as second half play gets underway.Golden Sierra’s Dan Burton medaled with a 38 to lead the Grizzlies over Marysville at Cold Springs. Joel Runnels posted a 45, followed by Jimmy Campbell, 46, and David Kulaga, 49.The Falcons cruised to a 208-241 win Thursday. Burton led the Grizzly effort with a 40. Runnels and David Seabuiy both shot 49.Monday, at Twelve Bridges, Golden Sierra downed Lincoln, 248-261. Burton medaled with a 42, and David Eamey turned in a 47 for the Grizzlies.
