Six men stood an excellent chance of copping the coveted award, with Adkins nosing out Valparaiso’s Eric Domroese by twopoints.The selection of Adkins should(f1\tprove to be a popular one. This 5’1” junior ended the season in a tie for first place in the individual scoring race and was a vital cog in Coach John Longfellow’s well oiled basketball machine.
