* ISioux City LeaguersComing to Fairbury for Spring TrainingIt is reported that the Sioux City baseball squad of the Western League will be in Fairbury for its spring training this year.The squad is scheduled to arrive in Fairbury Tuesday, April 27. for try-outs, bringing about 35 men. to be reduced to 22 men by May 16 when the Western League opens.Exhibition games will probably be held at the city park ball grounds with such teams as the House of David, Omaha Packers and the Colored Monarchs ofKansas City.The team is coming to Fairbury as a result of a suggestion from Dr. H. E. Potter, a personal friend of Fred Ring, president of the Sioux City club, and E.,H. Zwilling, manager. Others on the Fairbury committee are W. S. Davidson Arthur J. Denney, W. W. Kerr, James Nationa and A. L. Biehn.
