Gets Mat TitleThom’s Crimson Team Named National Collegiate Champions.By Timm SprcinlBLOOMINGTON, Ind., March 28. —Indiana university wrestling team was awarded the national championship and four Western Conference grapplers won titles out of seven at stake in a two-day national mat carnival here Saturday.Dr. R. G. Clapp, chairman of the national intercollegiate and Olympic rules committee made a detailed compilation of points scored by the various teams Friday and Saturday in all elimination bouts and awarded Coach W.H. Thoms grap-piers the team Thomhonors, with a total of thirteen points.Oklahoma A. A; M. was second ! with eleven points and University of Oklahoma and Iowa State col-j lege tied for third wtih nine each.The entire squad of seven Indiana university grapplers, by their performances in the meet, qualified for the Olympic team finals to be held at.
