It is the consensus of opinion among spotting men generally that the battle between “Voting” Corbett and Jimmy Britt fought Friday night, should have been a draw. A number of spurts have received telegrams from friends who were at the ringside and all who saw the battle agree that lief-eree Graney erred when he gave the decision to Britt on points.While they agree that Britt had a shade the better of the going in the last three or four rounds, they do notbelieve that the advantuge was great rough to overcome the tine showing made by “Young” Corbett in the opening rounds.
