o IFOOTBALLLINCOLN DROPS MIAA MEMBERSHIP. Lincoln University officials have decided to forfeit the college's membership in the MIAA because it cannot meet requirements for football participation, MIAA officials said Thursday.In a letter to the MIAA, Lincoln president David B. Henson said the university could not meet the requirement and needed to pursue other options for resuming football sponsorship, citing the college’s current financial circumstances.
