Reb, Southern(loaches ResignDave Wachter has resigned as head football coach at Southern Hagerstown High and Kay Nlontini has resigned as head grid mentor at North High.Both are moving to Pennsylvania, Wachter taking over the reins at Kiski Area High School, near Pittsburgh, and Montini assuming a similar position at Dubois High, north of AltoonaBoth had losing records at their respective Hagerstown schools Montini had a state Class “C” championship while at Smithsburg High, and another year his Smithsburg team was state runnerupMeanwhile, it has been reported that Mike Calhoun, former Beall High and Shepherd quarterback and current coach at Williamsport in W ashington County, has been interviewed for the vacant head coaching post at Keyser. Jim Thompson resigned the Golden Tornado post following last season.
