HOCKEY NEWSMarch 19th Shoal Lake Jets visited the Kenton arena and were downed $-5 in a real close hockey game. Goal scorers for the Jets were Ken Wowryk with a hat trick and singles were added by Derrick Edmundson and Myles Buch anan. Ron Susinski who has beenflying low lately picked up three assists, and singles were added by Myles Buchanan, Derrick Edmund-son, and Richard Stomik.March 22nd Kenton returned the game and came out on the short end of the stick this time as the Jets skated to a 9-7 decision. Ron Susinski picked up a hat trick and Myles Buchanan and Derrick Edmundson each picked up two goals. Singles were added byJim Lawson, a blistering slap shotfrom the blue line, and Doug Min-Itenko. Ken Wowryk was once again a busy man on the ice as he figured in on 5 of the 3 Jet goals, also sing* jle assists were picked up by Gordon Woods. Myles Buchanan and Derrick Edmundson.The Jets individual scoring leader ! is still Myles Buchanan with 27 goals and 21 assists, but is being pressed for the first time this year by Ken Wowryk.Name Gls Asts.
