Provo, Uta âJP)â Two Cali fornia teams, one from Arizona and five from Utah reached the quarterfinal bracket Wednesday night in the Latterday Saints All-Church Senior M-Men Basket ball tournament. The 32 team field was cut to 24 Wednesday at the close of the second round in the double elimination affair. Defending champion American Fork, Utah, 9th Ward was knocked down in the consolation bracket when it lost to a strong Westwood, Calif.eum 87-58. American Fork was one of the eight seeded leans in the tourna ment. Another seceded entry, Wash ington, D.C. was dropped into the consolation division by Og den, Utah, 28th Ward 51-47. Og den drove from behind to take the victory. The Utah squad was led by former All Skyline confer ence basketball star Ted Smith, who dunked 26 points. Two for mer Brigham Young University students, Jack Anderson and Dick Felt, each scored 18 for the Washington five. Both Ogden 12th and Westwood were seeded. In a double overtime, Victor ville, Calif., defeated Great, Falls, Mont., 53-51.
